About

My Mother made me take sewing lessons when I was 12, and that was the beginning of my Love Affair with fabric. My Sewing Room is testimony to that. I didn't have much time for sewing until I had my first baby, then I sewed just about everything she wore. I made most of the clothes for all 3 of my children. I also worked with all the different needle arts, including macrame(hated that one), needlepoint, crewel, cross stitch, original and counted, crocheting (didn't like that one either), and knitting. Then, the quilting bug hit, and now that I've made my first 200 quilts, and I have 5 grandchildren, it's time to sew again. I guess you could say that I've come Full Circle. I hope you enjoy my simple handmade items, because I certainly enjoy making them.
