About

I studied art history and I now I am doing PhD. I came back to sewing and embroidering during my maternity leave.

I have learned batik from my mum and further developed some of her techniques. As for the embroidery, I am attracted to Japanese Sashiko although I only borrow the simple decor from it and its basic running stitch.

I like folk, rustic and naivety. I also like minimalism, geometry and simplicity.
