Hi, my name is Laura and I'd love to tell you a little story.

Long, long ago in a land far far away lived a little girl and her Mama. The little girl was very very lucky to have such a wonderful Mama who gave her an easel, play table, and lots of milk cartons, crayons, scissors, tape, glue and much much more. The little girl created all sorts of things from those supplies: milk carton shoes, paintings, & construction paper books. As the girl grew, her Mama enrolled her in a grown-up painting class held in the back of a frame shop taught by a real artist. She was the only little girl in a class full of grown-ups, but she wasn't scared. She was very very happy. She loved the smell of turpentine, paints, and Lava soap. Rifling through the treasure trove of images in file cabinets looking for her next bit on inspiration was thrilling. Fast forward 40 years and the girl is now a woman with her own family…
