I can be fairly hilarious. I’m not afraid to make an idiot of myself.

Almost never is pretty good.

I earned my BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design; I’ve got 15+ years of professional experience, and my work has been seen worldwide on apparel, in print, and online. My illustration clients are located all over the United States, and I’m super good at communicating via your preferred method, whether it’s by phone, email, or text.

I live in the country with my hilarious partners in crime: husband Josh, son Phil (6 years), daughter Joy (2 years), and mom-in-law Carole, along with a slew of animals that can best be described as more than a little farmy.

We’ve got about 20 chickens, 5 beehives, and a bunch of wild critters running around like deer and foxes and a chupacabra.

I like coloring with my kids, karaoke, and a good glass of wine every now and then. (But preferably now, thanks.)

I also like drawing for you. Hint hint.

Publications

2016: “Sassy Flapper” included in Autumn issue of The Coloring Studio magazine.

2015: Colorful Tokyo coloring book for Colorful Cities.

2013: Colorful Seattle coloring book for Colorful Cities.

Awards

2016: Five first place ribbons, Professional Art level. Categories: Acrylic, Collage, Ink, Watercolor and Other. Effingham County Fair.

2016: Colorful Tokyo coloring book for Colorful Cities. Bronze, Travel/Guidebook category. Independent Publishers Awards.

2014: Hearts and Laserbeams website. Silver, Self Promotion category. W3 Web Design Awards.

2010 – Present: Employee of the Year. Every year. You can call yourself that when you’re self employed.

1999: “Teddy Bears Aren’t Trapeze Artists”. Winner, MTV Student Animation Awards. Someday I’ll transfer that VHS tape to digital media to share with you. Picture cute teddy bears swinging on trapezes, and the aftermath when their cute little arms aren’t sewn to handle stress at the seams.

1995: Winner, McDonnell Douglas space themed student art contest. I painted a super cool astronaut in space with really bright bold colors, won a savings bond, cashed it in early, and spent the money on gas. Because high school.

I Give Back

10% of all revenue my illustration work brings in is happily donated to Hydrate Church. This money helps to support their day to day operations, community outreach, and missions trips. I’m an active member of Hydrate, currently coordinating their Sunday morning kids church and nursery service, and donating illustration and design services whenever I can.

Where in the World is Steph?

I’m located in Guyton, Georgia, a small town just outside of Savannah.
I work with clients all over the United States, and love to meet in person with clients in the Effingham and Chatham county areas.
