hello pineapples is L-A Steeleworthy, a full-time web content strategist and mom and a part-time artist/crafter/blogger in Kitchener (by way of Halifax).
I've always been a crafter of some kind and taught myself to embroider as a way of making baby-safe eyes on sock monkeys. The more I embroidered, the more I loved that and started to make my own hand drawn embroidery pieces based on one of my other loves - Canadian Heritage Minutes. (How else do you justify the brain space taken up by all of those Heritage Minutes?)
I've started to play around with other designs whenever inspiration strikes, whether it's a collection of keys, graffiti in St.John's NL, or quotes from The Wire. But I'll always be stitching up some burnt toast and peach baskets.

Personalized Advertising
To enable personalized advertising (like interest-based ads), we may share your data with our marketing and advertising partners using cookies and other technologies. Those partners may have their own information they’ve collected about you. Turning off the personalized advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads or impact Etsy's own personalization technologies, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.
This type of data sharing may be considered a “sale” of information under California privacy laws. Turning off personalized advertising opts you out of these “sales.” Learn more in our Privacy Policy., Help Center, and Cookies & Similar Technologies Policy.
