Hello! My name is Melanie and I am based in Ontario, Canada. I was born and raised in Singapore, where I studied and graduated with a Degree in Design Communication (Specialising in Image & Communication).

I am a lover of all things vintage and beautifully crafted designs. I grew up in a very "crafty" environment, my mother is my creative mentor. She taught me how to sew cross-stitch when I was 9 and I have never looked back ever since.

Her Sweet Embrace is my first online store selling my handmade crafts. My shop name came about from Corrinne May's song Save Me. This song inspired me greatly, because crafting for me is like escaping into my own world. I do what I like most and it makes me happy.
