I’m a somewhat recent transplant to the rural mid-west, southern Indiana, after two decades of public service and high end sales in south Florida. It's nice to be back in the country!

Several years ago I started a little website specializing in unique Irish and Celtic gifts most of which were handcrafted and imported from Ireland. About

Eighteen months later I found myself on the front page of the New York Times on St. Patrick’s Day. The power of hard work and networking should never be underestimated! Along the way I discovered stained glass, did an apprenticeship with a stained glass maker and later added my own line of Celtic themed designs to my website which is offline at the monent.

I've also always been fascinated by quilts, their meanings, color selections, construction and pattern origins. Our nearby Amish community has been a true source of inspiration to me in this area. But seeing that I can't sew to save my life, I've chosen to satisfy my quilt fancy through stained glass.

As of late I’ve been concentrating on compiling and readying a collection of my original designs for publication while crafting new and interesting items to add to my shop.

The creation of Hill Lilly Designs is an effort to establish a more defined venue for my handcrafted stained glass items separate from my local custom work and website. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
