I've always been a creative person but 2001 I discovered my love of beads. I started making beaded wire for decorating wine and champagne glasses but soon moved to earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I am completely self taught and have yet to meet a technique I couldn't learn. I love to challenge myself. In 2003 Hippie Chick Jewelry & Design was officially started and in July, 2012 I was published for the first time. I have had several other pieces published and continuing submitting for publication on a regular basis. In December, 2014 I joined The Artisan Group and thanks to those opportunities, my jewelry made it's first television appearance in August, 2015 on Cedar Cove and more recently in October, 2015 on The Vampire Diaries! I am very honored to be part of The Artisan Group and Self Representing Artist in Jewelry Design member #3989. I am blessed and hopeful for all the exciting new things coming my way!

On a personal note, I am also a happy wife and very proud mother of a grown up son and daughter and a new proud Nana to a beautiful granddaughter! I am also doting mom to several fur babies...it's a good life!
