As a child, I loved the American Girl stories and desperately wanting one of the dolls. Molly because a cherished childhood toy since she looked like me and my father too fought in WWII.

The women in my family come from a long line of sewers and about the time I got Molly, Pleasant Company came out with patterns for the dolls. Thus the love affair in costuming came to pass. In high school I designed some patterns of my own (which years later I tried and they WORKED!) and then college and life happened. In 2010 I was looking for a hobby and thought of my doll and all the fabric around the house, so I grabbed my machine, patterns and a tote of fabric and...the rest is history. About

At the end of 2011, I was laid off from my job and my sewing has grown into more of a full time job to pay bills and student loans. Still, I am always on the lookout for new looks and ideas. I love sewing all different types of fabrics and taking custom orders for unique items. In 2013, I began the 'School Spirit' line after working at a t-shirt shop and that has progressed into full outfits for personal gifts and fundraisers.

One of my favorite activities is to attend craft shows and events where I can show off my doll outfits and inspire the next generation of sewers. Thank you for looking at my shop!
