About

Welcome to our shop.

Why did we start Honey's Treasures? Michael and I are always into something, just ask our friends and family. Back when the market was good, we were flipping houses and doing all the work ourselves. When the market crashed, we lost all our savings because it was tied up in a house on the coast, near Mendocino. We turned it into a vacation rental and when the market took a turn, we realized that we weren't going to recoup our investment. For a few years we were able to keep it afloat by renting it out but as the economy got worse we realized that we had to lose it. That was a sad day and we both had a little depression going on back then over the whole situation.

Needing to do something fast to earn some extra income due to our huge loss, we started Honey's Treasures. Michael was always making things for me…

HONEY'S TREASURES

Michael was always making things for me that I requested and it just seemed natural for us to turn to woodworking. We designed a wine rack, came up with the unique idea of the Railroad Shelf (there's a story) along with some other furniture designs and it took off from there.

We hope you enjoy browsing our collection. Each item is handmade by us only, it's just Michael and myself working in our garage at home. We do not have another online shop, nor do we have a retail shop. Once in awhile our son, Seth, helps us. However, he has a full time job at a local appliance store and that keeps him pretty busy.

We do ship internationally, please convo us to get a shipping quote if one isn't already given. We welcome custom orders.

Thank you,
Michael and Lisa ;-)

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not use, nor ever use or recommend pallet wood. Please read here if you have purchased or are thinking of purchasing something for your home made from pallet wood:
