About:
Hopz Girl was created after several discussions with my husband and research about all the different uses for hops. We started researching hop essential oils, herbal supplements and medications. This is where our adventure in soap making along with other bath and body products started. Most of our products contain hops that are infused in oils or added to the soap at the end.
I currently work part-time and help out on our hop and barley farm, Hop Ridge Farms LLC is located in Grand Rapids MI. Our farm has been in the family since 1838; having gone through many changes over the generations and we love what we do! Hop Ridge Farms LLC is Food Certified through the State of Michigan.

Unique or attractive:
Our soaps are made with oils, fats, sodium hydroxide (lye), distilled water, essential oils, fragrance oils and hops. There are no additives added to enhance or take away from the soap’s natural characteristics. Adding hops to soap and other bath products has become popular over the past couple of years. With over 5,000 breweries nationwide up and running and soon to open their doors, more hop farms than ever before or popping up, especially in Michigan. Why not start making hop soap and soon to come beer soap! We strive to purchase our supplies locally as much as possible in support of Michigan businesses to see them thrive and grow as we are hoping do with ours.
