I was rather fortunate to grow up in a settlers cottage surrounded by rolling hills amidst the countryside during the eighties. The romanticised ideal of "Bowral" those days conjures images of elbow patches, tweed, liberty print and Volvos. Our house was very old world full of antiques and the smell of my mothers vegetable soup and delicious baked goods. Many a day was spent picking organic veggies from the patch, stoking open fires, playing with farmyard animals and making all kinds of arts and crafts. This is where I draw most of my inspiration.

About

I was rather fortunate to grow up in a settlers cottage surrounded by rolling hills amidst the countryside during the eighties. The romanticised ideal of "Bowral" those days conjures images of elbow patches, tweed, liberty print and Volvos. Our house was very old world full of antiques and the smell of my mothers vegetable soup and delicious baked goods. Many a day was spent picking organic veggies from the patch, stoking open fires, playing with farmyard animals and making all kinds of arts and crafts. This is where I draw most of my inspiration.

After studying creative arts at University I spent several years photographing weddings and found that there seemed to be a lack of difference when it came to getting married. So when Mr Indigo Fleur popped the big question last year we decided to create our wedding a little differently. I began to roam the world in search of my perfect vintage wedding dress and it was here that the collection began. From antique dealers to flee markets and perfectly preserved boxes on the top shelf of a wardrobe came dresses wrapped in tissue paper representing the most memorable day of generations before us.

Most of the vintage dresses in the collection are from the fifties, sixties and seventies and each of them like ourselves tells a story about the culture of their time. Adorable laces and sweetness of the fifties, Delicate bows and dreamy love of the sixties and bohemian ruffled hems representing the free spirit of the seventies. Each dress has been carefully selected for the modern indie bride...

I hope you love them as much as we do. xo
