About

I grew up in Russia and began sewing when I was 12 years old as I had a great passion for design and fashion. However in Russia, at that time, it was difficult to find fashionable clothing, so I started making my own.

While still living in Russia, my passion for fashion and design continued so I started a sewing company (with a staff of 40) where we created women’s sportswear and high fashion items.

My family and I immigrated to Canada where my ‘fashion with a twist’ designs were featured in many small, Canadian boutiques. I have since moved to the USA, live and work in Massachusetts, and still sell my creations in small boutiques in the Boston area.

The clothing offered in my shop is infused with the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ and offers a range of styles designs, and textiles from around the world, both in original and modified form.

I believe in the economy of scale (merge clothing styles so that they can be worn for more than just one season) and I believe in upcycling clothing – as what is good for the planet is good for us!

I continue to follow the current fashion trends to determine what women want, however my goal is to create stylish, comfortable clothing utilizing unique designs for the average women at a reasonable cost.

I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoy creating them.

Thank you,
Irina
