About

I love making folk art pieces that look like they are from a bygone era. I specialize in spun cotton and paper mache, sometimes combining the two. I add vintage elements to much of my work, so you might find a bit of antique tinsel, vintage crinkle wire or an old spool in a piece I’ve made.

Halloween is a favorite of mine and you will find Halloween art in my shop all year round. I also paint watercolors of the holiday and like to portray a more innocent side of trick or treating, haunted houses and jack o’lanterns.

I was also honored to have my work sold at Rogers’ Gardens Halloween Boutique in Southern California.

Overall, my art honors our 17-year-old daughter Brianna Grant, who passed away June 15, 2007, while undergoing a bone marrow transplant. She too loved the holidays and creating art. She will always be my inspiration, and my art is my therapy.

Thank you for visiting and remember, each day is a gift....Iva
