About

Hi my name is Jacquie and welcome to my shop.

I've alway done some sort of craft ever since I was a kid. And I got into the jewelry making craze just like everyone. But I wasn't happy with the store bought beads. I would always look at my bag of Beach Glass that I had collected as a child growing up on Long Island and spending summer days over at the Beaches on Fire Island. Its not a large bag of glass as it is hard to come by, but I often thought of making some jewlery out of it.

And then one night while drinking a bottle of wine with some friends I wondered what it would it be like if I broke the empty bottle and tumbled it. I was inspired to try and I found that tumbled glass comes out much smoother then Beach or Sea Glass making it a bit more elegant.

I get excited everytime I open the tumbler and see what each piece looks like. Now I am always on the look out for different colored glass. And a little secret I learned from a friend at work, if you rub a small amount of baby oil on the glass, you will get a beautiful shine instead of the matte finish. The shine will last for a few hours until the oil is absorbed by the glass.

I started making my pieces as gifts for my two sisters and my niece. And then my sisters would ask me to make pieces for them to give to their co-workers as gifts. It was when my sisters co-workers started asking if I sold my pieces that my sisters started pushing me to try and sell my pieces. So here I am!

I hope you enjoy my shop. If you like what you see please share this shop with your family and friends. And if you have a questions, please convo and I will respond as soon as possible.

Please stop by often, I have tons of ideas and will add more pieces as I complete them. If there is anything special that you are looking for, let me now and I will see what I can do!

Thank you for stopping by!
