I’m a Landscape Architect that can’t stay away from Art, so I paint. I’m a Fine Artist that can’t help but teach the gift that was given to me, so I teach. I’m a Teacher that can’t teach without mentoring, so I mentor. I’m a mentor that loves the game of basketball, (yeah, you guessed it)…so I coach. Wonder how I do all of this and still keep my sanity? Your guess is as good as mine.

I've been drawing and painting my entire life. I graduated from LSU and majored in Landscape Architecture, which fueled my love and appreciation for architecture and nature. I practiced Landscape Architecture for two years in Downtown Houston and worked on some amazing projects including City Center Las Vegas, the largest private real estate development in U.S. history, and countless other contemporary urban design projects around the world.

In 2009, I lost my job due to the recession and quickly understood that to be a sign that my true calling was to teach Art and share my gift with children. I got certified to be a teacher shortly after and have been teaching Art at a middle school outside of Houston ever since and have loved every minute of it. I also mentor at risk youth after school and use my gift as a way to connect to the troubled kids and lead them in the right direction.

I've always known that my gift in art could help me express myself and convey the stories that I felt were most important to tell. After many years of maturing as an artist I realized that I'm not the only one that benefits from this gift and it can be used in a variety of ways to help others in need.
