That's my Jam!™ started late in 2008 when a friend went overboard while apple picking in upstate New York. Knowing that I make a damn fine apple pie, she passed on almost thirty pounds of organic apples. As much as friends and neighbors would have loved to help me eat ten pies, I opted to find a better use for this bounty. I experimented with recipes for apple butter and taught myself how to can with a little help from the internet. Later that same autumn my Brooklyn backyard garden produced way more habanero chilis than I anticipated so I decided to toy around with a recipe for habanero jelly. People liked my jellies so much that they suggested selling them and the rest is history.
I'm constantly perfecting favorite recipes and looking for new ones. I use raw sugar when flavor appropriate and local or organic fruit as often as possible. Only fresh natural ingredients are used in the making of…
