When I was very little, my Dad used to roll down the window and shout "Hey Jane-e!" as we drove through an underpass in town. That nickname, and my actual initials, inspired my shop name "jane e roberti."

Prior to this, I had a children's clothing line, called Mondo Moon. As sole owner and designer, I had a flagship studio/store in Chicago's North Shore suburbs, got it all made with the help of great local cutters and sewers, and was stocked in over 100 boutiques around the USA.
