Janell Solomon's Profile

About

I grew up on a ranch near a tiny mountain town, on the western slope of Colorado.
Creativity was always encouraged and fostered in our home. On cold, snowy nights, my mom would bundle us up and take my two older brothers and me to art club, where we had the opportunity to try many different mediums in which to create art.
I'm not sure I knew that kitchen curtains, school clothes and new winter coats could be purchased in a store, because my wonderfully creative mom made all the these things for us. It has taken a long time for me to fully understand the gift I was given and how blessed I was to have an extraordinary and talented mom!
Thanks to her, I have a love of all things beautifully hand crafted and a love for creative expression that has now taken me to the new and exciting world of wire wrap and jewelry making.
