About

Greetings!
I come from a long line of creative women. I seem to have gotten the collecting gene instead of the completing a project gene. I see beauty in ordinary items and frequently drag those things home with me.
I am starting the 3rd phase of my life. My amazing daughter made me a grandmother in April, so I am a new empty nester. So far I have not freaked out as I suspected I would- I feel like my life is full of unlimited possibilities!

I have been in some form of the military for the past 20 years. Currently I am a medic in the Michigan Air National Guard. On one of my short deployments I had the honor of working with the Wounded Warriors. It is my intention to donate 10% of my profits to the Wounded Warrior Project.

You might be interested to know that I started this project by myself. But now I have help, Adena my amazing daughter is always looking stuff up for me if I'm not close to the internet. Most of my pictures are taken at my Aunt Carol's house, she always comes up with some new description I didn't think of. Mostly she is just enthusiastic about EVERY piece I pull out. She is fast becoming my new best friend. If you liked a piece of driftwood and it disappears but didn't sell, it is most likely a permanent fixture in her garden now! Selena and Linda go to the beach with me, and Selena's mom was my mentor, the wealth of information and push of confidence it took to sign up for etsy. I'm surrounded by amazing women and soooo lucky! Thanks for looking
