About

I am a computer geek who stumbled into jewelry design by accident. All I wanted to do was bling out a dog tag for a friend of mine as a gift, but somewhere in my trips to the craft store I discovered wire, hematite, and Swarovski crystals. I've been experimenting with wire wrapping and shaping ever since.

I also operate an Etsy collective called "Exquisite Contradictions" under the username "exquisitecontradict" with my wife, Miranda.

This store represents my more playful and experimental side. Sort of like I'm a member of a band but this is my solo album.

You know, I love the jewelry that I post here. I love it to the point that I don't want to post it here because I get too attached to it in the process of creating it. I see every piece that I make as somewhat of a personal journey. For me, the process is quite possibly more interesting and memorable than the end result. The best way that I can explain it is to say that it's like Raiders of the Lost Ark. The movie really isn't about finding the ark, it's about everything that Indy has to go through to get to the ark.

I truly appreciate that you have chosen to share in a piece of my journey, and I honestly hope that my jewelry moves you in the same way that it moves me. As cheesy as it sounds, every piece that I make has a part of me in it.
