I remember my mom making jewelry when I was a girl and fell in love with the idea of creating my own jewelry. In December of 2004 while visiting family, we made a trip to Freeport ME, wherethe cutest shop selling handmade items. while perusing the shelves, we found a magazine, with a beautiful wire wrap necklace on the cover, made by Sheryl Lynn Lewellen. I was anxious to try the project. i loved it, and from then on i was hooked! I took two wire wrap classes to learn the basics and then began teaching myself. 12 years later, I'm still learning and enjoying creating one of a kind jewelry.
