By profession I am an architect, but photography has always been a great love of mine and I have been running around with a camera ever since I remember. I have also followed courses in fine art photography at the university, next to that I always have been experimenting, trying and learning things on my own.

I photograph things I love , like nature, art, architecture and many, many others, in a way that is bringing out my subjective perception of the world around me. My photographs are not of a documentary kind, they are more about feelings, emotions and imagination than about anything else. Sometimes they will let you see things as you have never seen them before, sometimes they will just remind you how beautiful the world is.

Many plants that I photograph are growing in my collection, very often they are very rare and unique species, or just not that popular because at a first glance they don't look like much. I love to show how beautiful and unusual they are, and how much inspiration one can get from a tiny little plant. Here my absolute favorites are my succulent plants, with haworthias playing the major role.

I am using both digital and analogue cameras, with variety of lenses. I love to work in a traditional darkroom, love the traditional prints and even though I do admit that there are lots of advantages to digital photography, I do miss 'the old days' a lot.
