About

I have been a full time bookbinder and boxmaker since 1997. I first became interested in bookbinding during a summer internship at Women's Studio Workshop in upstate New York. In 2005 I was finally able to settle into my studio in Long Beach CA and work full time for myself. I spend most of my time working with designers, photographers, business folks and individuals customizing portfolios, presentation folders, albums, boxes and more. When I'm not doing that I tinker around in the studio experimenting with new materials and searching for new applications for the materials that I work with every day. The result is what you find here in the jeeta Etsy shop.
