Jennifer Locke's Profile

About

Hello~

I'm Jenn of Jennifer Locke Designs. I love to design something out of someone else's nothing.

It all started when my daughter was a baby and I left my high stressed job to be a MOM.

Which ended up being the best job anyone could EVER have in the world........next to being the DAD.

Since I couldn't sit idle. I found something to during naps and feedings. So I started recycling windows and making message boards from them.

Than I became addicted to vintage fabrics. Chenille, chenille, chenille, vintage cottons OMG...I love everything about them. They are so soft. Not to mention the designs, & colors are endless. So now I have a HUGE but, limited supply I'm offering on ETSY…

Hello~

Which ended up being the best job anyone could EVER have in the world........next to being the DAD.

My sweet daughter Kassadi Skye, is the inspiration behind all my creations, as well as my little helper. She had grounded me in so many ways...

I/we love working with vintage and/or recycled materials because each of our creations become one of a kind.

Most recently I've been working on felted wool to make mittens. They have been designed from recycled sweaters that have been boiled for maximum shrinkage, cut apart, reassembled, and embellished with vintage buttons.

In the warmer months you'll find vintage bloomers in my store made from recycled materials.

I'd love to make a personal pair of mittens or bloomers for you. I can include an old sweater, vintage fabrics, or special buttons of your own, if you so wish.

Just a little background.........I've been working around a sewing machine since I was a young girl and come from a long line of seamstresses. I like to think they taught me well. Not to mention I'm very particular about my finished product.

Special orders ship within two weeks, please contact me for more information.

Wholesale orders are always welcome.
