About

Welcome!
שלום

We design and create heirloom quality ketubot and wedding ceremony keepsakes for couples of Jewish heritage and all faiths that consciously combine century-old Jewish traditions and Hebrew expressions of joy and affection with the fresh trendsetting aesthetic of modern weddings today.

Jennifer was an Art Director and Senior Designer for a global marketing and advertising agency in San Francisco for 10 years prior to starting Jennifer Raichman Ketubah. As a new mother who wanted to work from home, she initially established an Etsy shop selling handcrafted wedding invitations with Hebrew options.

During the Spring and Summer months, Jennifer is booked about three months in advance for a ketubah. This swelling of business prompted getting her sister, Wendy Hahn, involved to assist in marketing, social media and new design inspiration. Jennifer's Israeli husband, Tal Raichman, does all the Hebrew translations.

Jennifer's ketubah collection is inspired by weddings today that mingle mature color inspirations, rustic simplicity, elegant refinement and enlightened style. There are no shortages of influential wedding style blogs coupled with the world of Pinterest to give today’s couples concepts of how they want their wedding day to feel and what they want it to look like. Eschewing the traditional fussy ketubah with bold primary colors, a Jennifer Raichman Ketubah incorporates the sophisticated color palettes, genres of style and elaborate destination venues of weddings today.

A Jennifer Raichman ketubah also seeks to subtly incorporate iconic Jewish motifs into the design for those seeking to celebrate tradition without overwhelming the piece. For instance, we use pomegranate fruit, olive branches and grapevines in our designs. Other traditional Jewish motifs include well-known Hebrew phrases of “Mazel Tov” and “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” Jennifer incorporates these traditional quotes into her ketubah designs as well as in trendsetting products. Essential to these phrases’ modernity is finding that perfect text layout that brings their meaning into the present day and appeal to the modern wedding couple.

Our non-ketubah products are just a natural extension of celebrating the modern Jewish couple. Our fresh design aesthetic led to a cultivated group of products to honor the traditions of Jewish weddings including challah covers, mazel tov pouches for breaking the glass and chuppah canopies. We took this collection a step further to include ring bearer pillows, simcha chair backings and other playful banners and wands. Similar to our ketubah collection that uses the best papers and inks on the market, our other products center on craftsmanship and use of the finest linens, thread, and ribbons.

Thank you!
תודה רבה
