About

I am a jewelry artist living in the Appalachian region of Southeastern Ohio.

About

I am a jewelry artist living in the Appalachian region of Southeastern Ohio.

I come from an artistic family - my mother was a painter and her mother was always making something - crocheting, quilting, writing, painting, ceramics - you name it.

Some sort of craft or design project was always in the works and just a way of life in my house growing up and I learned how necessary a creative outlet is for me. Immersing myself in a design, or spending hours creating one piece is not work - it is therapy!

After trying many mediums, I finally discovered my true passion is in jewelry making. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings.

I would say my style is really that I don't have a set style - whatever design or mood strikes my fancy - I tend to design large, multi-layered pieces in bright bold colors. Dressing should be fun and expressive and I want my jewelry to make you smile and feel good while wearing it.

My first love is glass - beads of all sizes and shapes, colors and makes. I am always thrilled to find a new lampwork bead artist for supplies and inspiration - and there are many talented folks on Etsy! Quite often, inspiration for a particular design springs from a particular bead, color or mix of colors.
