Jessi Bamford-Love's Profile

About

I taught myself to knit when I went back to school in my mid-twenties to study literature because I needed a hobby that didn't involve reading. Soon I became inspired by my small nieces and nephews to knit dolls and toys, posting pics of my projects, and occasionally knitting special requests for people. Before long, friends persuaded me try selling my wares online, and thus Misfit Toys was born.

I'm inspired by literature, rock and roll music, film, and my own quirky imagination. Since entering graduate school I have a lot less time to create new critters so my inventory is small, but every so often I just have to let my fingers dance with the needles and yarn and just see what they can do together!
