About

Je t'adorn is dedicated to designing and creating handmade jewelry...necklaces, pendants, bracelets, earrings, and more. My favorite part of designing jewelry is finding that perfect combination of colors, shapes, and textures of semiprecious stones, glass, metals, and crystals to create the most wearable jewelry...jewelry that feels like part of you, as if it has always been that way. I like to keep the combinations clean and simple so that the stones themselves are the focal point.

I attended Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., but ended up working full time in the computer industry until May 31, 2012, when I retired. I've always managed to include some creative activity, though, and have taken many classes in several states. My favorites have been pottery and basket weaving, but I feel I have found my "calling" with jewelry. I have been handcrafting jewelry for myself…

I have been handcrafting jewelry for myself for 25 years or so, starting when I lived in Massachusetts. Two years ago (after many moves to many states) after encouragement from my husband and stepdaughter, I decided to share my creativity with others and started Je t'adorn. "Je t'adore" means "I love you: in French, so the made-up term "Je t'adorn" means "I adorn you", and that's what I strive to do, adorn you with jewelry that makes you feel special when you wear it!

I do various shows in Florida, mostly from Orlando and south. AndiIf you are ever in Sebastian, FL, come see me at the Sebastian Craft Club Show which is held the first Saturday of every month, October through May. Only handmade items by the individual craft club members are sold at this show.
