Jewelry By Jesse came to fruition back in 2003. Coming from an artistic family, I tried to find my own outlet for my desire to create. Painting and drawing, crochet, knitting and quilting didn't strike a cord with me. The physical work behind jewelry making, bending metal, polishing stones all gave me a sense of accomplishment that I didn't find with other crafts.

In 2005 I started taking my jewelry to local farmer's markets and selling to friends or bartering for other items. It was at this time that I found I enjoyed using what nature gave us as opposed to the glass and plastic you can find everywhere. The semi precious stones, pearls and shells I use to create my jewelry brings a sense of earthiness that many people really enjoy.

It pleases me to have something that brings as much joy to the person wearing it as it does to me when I make it.
