My name is Natsuko, which means summer child in Japanese. I’m originally from outside of Tokyo, Japan and now live in Ohio, USA with my husband and son. I work on my jewelry in my little home studio while my son is at school.
I was always in love with craft. Growing up in Japan, as a little girl, I loved to make felted dolls and paper flowers. When I got married and moved to the United States, my routine was to go to a fabric store and then go home to make something for me to wear. For the last 15 years, making jewelry has been my absolute passion. I started with simple beading and then began taking enameling and jewelry making classes at Columbus Cultural Art Center. I love learning new techniques and expand my jewelry making skills. So to expand my jewelry offering, we just setup new casting system and I got my husband to do casting and mold making.
