I am from Southern California, where there is no snow. I still cannot use a snow shovel properly according to some people. I settled in the East after getting out of the Regular US Army. After this I became an executive assistant and went to school at night. Along this line, I became a nurse. First, trauma then ICU and finally a visiting nurse. At the best of times nursing can be stressful so I found relief in learning to make jewelry.
Formal classes were taken in printmaking, watercolor, drawing and jewelry. Jewelry classes won. I had a passion for jewelry. I became certified as a PMC Level 2 instructor, worked in Dichroic glass and enamel. All of which I have applied to jewelry. Stones, have color, texture and a life of their own.
