About

Once upon a time, I was a real estate recycler. That is, I took old properties (both residential and commercial) and restored them. I consulted their old souls and gently nudged them into the current century, giving them new lives – and sometimes, new uses. In my free time I satisfied the other side of my creative spirit by making jewelry inspired by my travels along the seacoast, in the mountains, and everywhere in between.

As time went on, my jewelry started to receive more and more attention, until eventually my jewelry making took over from my real estate recycling. In 2003 the transition was complete.

Since then, hair accessories, bridal accessories, and girl’s jewelry & hair accessories (see my Etsy shop jpfGirls) lines have been added to my collection - all handcrafted from freshwater pearls, gemstones, seashells, mother of pearl, and other natural materials. My work has been featured in print and on television shows (like Gossip Girl), and is sold in select boutiques from London to Tokyo. However, most of the items sold here on Etsy are not available in stores anywhere.

I still design and handcraft each and every piece myself out of the highest quality materials. Limited editions usually range from 3 to 6 pieces (occasionally more), but much of what I produce is one-of-a-kind, made with the highest quality natural materials available.
