I love wood! My wife and kids are constantly rolling their eyes when I comment on the potential for wood we see in the forest to be furniture, gates, garden art or home decor.

For me, the hands-on process of artisan furniture-making began with learning to hand hew my materials. The designs for my products are my own, rooted in the styles of country people from times long ago. My pieces are created using primarily hand tools. I like what I do, maybe you will too!

My wife is the computer savvy one - she's the geek behind this etsy shop - and I am glad for it! She also loves crafting things - everything from crochet and knitting to scrapbooking.
