Jennifer Habelito's Profile
I'm an Interior Designer by day and an undercover 80-year-old woman by night. The only thing I can willingly stay up for is jewelry making.
I started making accessories when my mother was recovering from breast cancer early this year (2012). During the week of her Mastectomy, I stayed home to care for her for seven consecutive days. Without cable or internet, all I had was Bossa Nova and my imagination. I sorted through her sewing kit and found a few balls of yarn and scraps of nifty fabric materials. Despite her limited mobility, we managed to create a few delightful pieces together, ones I'll keep dearly forever.
She's doing a lot better now, and I've taken up this arts and crafts thing a bit more aggressively. In her honor, I will be donating 5% of my earnings to Susan G Komen For The Cure to help find a cure for Breast…
