After being the proprietor and pastry chef at a pastry shoppe for 17 years located where it was freezing cold way too many days out of every year, I closed the brick and mortar and moved to the white sandy beaches of Florida's West coast. For three years I spent my time baking organic vegetarian pastry, perfecting my recipes, reviewing restaurants and kitchen gadgets, and creating unique pieces of art- be it jewelry, wall hangings or whatever happened to strike my fancy. Then I left it all behind to check out this amazing place called Portland, where my creativity truly has no limitations!
