Joelle has lived most of her life in the magical lands known as western and central New York. Her grandparents ran a tailor shop and her mother taught her to sew when she was a little girl. Her father was an artist who created toys. Joelle spent her childhood playing with dolls.
Then it was off to college for a fine arts photography degree, marriage, working a bunch of jobs as she raised her children.
More than 10 years ago, Joelle began making one of a kind cloth dolls. Joelle's Dolls are original quirky characters who make children happy and help adults remember how to play. Her dolls trigger creativity and laughter - whether they become a child's favorite toy or a unique home decoration.
