John N. Stewart's Profile

About

I've been involved in the visual arts and music most of my 72 years. I am supposed to be retired, but, as you know, artist/musicians don't do that. My training began at Chouinard Art Institute, Art Center, and the rest from experience. Six years of creating art in welded metals. I worked for various film and television studios as an artist for about 25 years. I did a lot of projects for Disney, Universal, Paramount , Fox, MGM and others. I retired from that in 2002. High points: Doing a portrait of Bette Davis (from life) and working on the Addams Family film in the 90's.

Regarding the items on Etsy: They are all my art works and music cd's. My art has been shown extensively around the USA and has been collected both here and in Europe. I am listed on AskArt.com, and seven of my watercolors were included recently in a book "Watercolor Paintings by Contemporary Artsts. Etsy gives you an opportunity to buy my art at a fraction of "gallery prices".

I've been selling art online since 1995.
