About

Jooniebeads Treasures is about giving every woman the chance to feel special, every day. My goal is to create a host of pieces that add a little something to the daily jeans and Ts or top and slacks and then throw in a bit of sparkle for those special occasions and keep doing it at prices that the every woman can afford.

About Amy- I think the fact that I hate writing about myself probably says more about me than I could ever say in words, but Ill give it a shot. I am an Army wife, retired homeschool mom, artist. I love to read and travel, I would rather be on the beach with my husband than anywhere else. For now though I am usually at home working on my Etsy shops, out honing my photography skills or curled up with my cat reading a good book…

Favorite materials

I love natural, worn looking materials and in my life I am surrounded by things that look old, worn, natural and comfortable I also appreciate clean, classic looks and seem to be using more of that in my jewelry at this point I love using things found in nature or discarded items to create something new and beautiful and I hope to draw off of this in my Etsy creations

We currently live of Fort Knox, Ky but in just 5 short months my husband will be officially retired from the Army and we will be officially retired and transitioning info civilian life. i am excited to see where it takes us and looking forward to having more time to work with my husband and see how we can grow my business together.

Ive spend 20 years following my husband around the world and have had the opportunity to learn from many talented artists over that time. but, my daughter actually taught me how to make jewelry and now that she is a college student, studying art, I am free to give jewelry the time I need to learn and grow my talents. I still learn from other artists and am inspired by so many people here on Etsy!! I think we may be born with talent or an eye for color, but spending time with creative people is just a spark to the flame.
