I am artist working alone in my studio, creating beautiful pieces of jewelry by hand using traditional methods. Most items in my store are handmade to order in your size, some are one of a kind. There will always be slight differences in each item because of this. I use natural gemstones, vintage beads and cabochons and precious metals in my jewelry. As I child I spent lots of time at Art Fairs, I was in awe of the talent and the beauty but could never afford to bring any of it home. When I started this journey as a potter for a hobby I didn't dare to think that one day I would make my living making art as a metalsmith. It is important to me to make things that are affordable and beautiful so that everyone can bring a piece home. Everyone deserves beauty in their lives. I use jewelry boxes made of recycled paper and also recycled tissue paper as available. The padding used is either biodegradable packing peanuts or usually paper strips from shredding machines. I try my best to be green when possible! Most of the silver used in my shop is commercially recycled silver. Recycled silver puts less of a strain on the planet as there is less mining. I am also trying to incorporate more lab created gem stones in my work as well, since this also will stress our planet less than mining gemstones.................................................................................................................................................................................Bio: I am a potter who wandered into precious metal clay and then finding that limiting, decided to take silversmith classes at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. I fell in love with gemstones and with metal. I ventured on from there to a Gem & Mineral Society in Palm Beach County, Florida and learned how to cut stones. My first love of pottery kindled my love to play with fire in the Raku process, and metalsmithing has pushed it further with the use of a torch. I still enjoy both working in clay and metal and exploring the differences of the two mediums. I have now relocated to beautiful Louisville, Ky. and have completely fallen in love with this amazing city.***********Please take a look on my shop policies page for important information on shipping and returns. Thanks so much!
