About

Hello I'm Jo and I run Colour Club. I studied Fine Art at university and have always loved to make things and experiment with materials. From knitting, sewing and drawing to paper mache, origami and card making, I enjoy it all and love to learn new crafts.

When it comes to jewellery I'm drawn to simple designs and don't like too many fussy bits. I love carefully considered colour combinations (wow alliteration!) which usually means only two or three colours per piece for me, however sometimes I just want a big colour explosion, and you may find the odd piece in my shop which reflects that. Throughout my teens I was a fan of big bold colours, but now I'm far more drawn to muted and pastel shades. If you're American you may be wondering why I've spelled 'Colour' wrong. Well I used the British spelling because I'm British, it's as simple as that! I was born and raised in lovely Kent in the South East of England, and after 3 years at university in Yorkshire I moved to London in 2005. I love it and can't imagine living anywhere else. Well maybe Hawaii, New York, Japan or Argentina, but for now London's good.

I hope you like what you see in my shop, I'd be thrilled to hear from you so drop me a message if you want to say Hi.
