PRISCILLA MARTINEZ's Profile

About

Priscilla Martinez has been making jewelry as far back as she can remember, stringing beads and twisting wire as a child of 8. Thirty years later, she has taken that gift that came naturally and developed it. By refining the metalsmithing skills of direct metal and lost wax techniques she learned in high school, she adds these proficiencies through more recent projects, which includes her diverse design work in joyarte.
Alongside her jewelry designing, Priscilla also studied dance intensely from that same early age and later, added theatre. She went on to dance professionally and added choreography to her career experiences. She still teaches ballet to young people and continues to choreograph award winning concert pieces for dance companies in her hometown of San Antonio.
