I started making banners as a way to thank those in my community and church who had stood by my side during my diagnosis of Crohn's disease and resulting transition out of the classroom as I was unable to teach. With each banner a name would come into my head and I would also be given the "word" for that person or family. I loved creating these special banners. Within months I had made 88 banners and my husband, Rich, and my good friend, Krista wondered if I had considered selling on Etsy. I am so thankful to be here and hope you find something you want for your home or that of a friend. I love using unique and meaningful materials to accompany the message in each banner.
