Leah Dennison's Profile

About

I was fortunate to have learned how to sew as a child. As an adult I discovered a way to combine sewing and creativity by making art quilts. Creating art is a fascinating process that consumes me from start to finish. The final product is the answer to a mystery that I have spent hours and hours trying to solve. I never know what I have created until the process is completed. This unknowing keeps me interested and driven. I strive to push myself in new, often uncomfortable, directions because this builds the suspense and makes the final reveal of the piece even more of an exciting surprise to me.
