I have always loved all things crafty but didn't know I had a creative bone in my body until I became a mom and started scrapbooking and personalizing all kinds of items for our daughter. I started Jubilantwares where I was creating personalized photo charms and other items that mean so much. Each charm tells a story and holds so much emotion behind it.

I put jubilantwares on hold and shut down when our 5 year old son got diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, in July of 2012. We had to learn a new normal and I was struggling to find meaning balancing everything. Our son finally went into remission June of 2013 and I wanted to start creating again but I needed to figure out a way to pay it forward as well. I started with the personalized keepsakes. Every time I sold one I was sending one to a family touched by childhood cancer. I eventually realized I needed to start adding on items as I was not following my business concept and sending keepsakes to families cutting into our home budget. So now every time I sell items on etsy I am able to buy the supplies and pay for mailing for all the keepsakes I send out. The joy and fulfillment I receive when I hear from these families is so great I hope I can continue to do this. It's a good way to pay it forward and bring awareness to childhood cancer, which is one of the least talked about and funded cancers.
