The basis of it all is the human connection to each other and the world around us. In my work, I choose to focus on the positive aspects of these interactions.

A product of the world I live in, my subject matter is often seemingly random, as if switching the channels on late night TV: Documentary, classic sitcom, nature program, public broadcasting, comedy, etc.

As a mainly visual person, I rely on color and composition to draw out the beauty and interest in daily life and simple moments. I continue to develop my skills in order to create and share a visual record of the good that comes out of our existence.

BIO/BACKGROUND: I was born and raised in Western Upstate New York in a small town on the Erie Canal. The rural landscapes and rust belt towns I grew up in remain the inspiration for much of my work. In 1998, I moved to Rhode Island to attend Roger Williams University, where I received a Bachelors degree in Mathematics. Currently, I reside in Boston and am in love with this city. I also attend the Boston Academy of Realist Art.
