The past few years have been wonderful for Julie, working as a full time artist. In January of 2013 she had her first solo show at the Oz Gallery in Thornton, Colorado. She was also a featured artist on A&E's network FYI T.V. show, Tiny House Nation, Episode 5, where she created a heartwarming sign for a couple who had lost their house in a wild fire. She looks forward to what exciting experience comes next!

Her life has had its own ups and downs, but for each hill and valley there is something to learn. In April of 1999, she was a junior at Columbine High School and lived through the terrible shootings that took place that day. Since then, she has suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and has found herself able to embrace the trauma, and help it lead her to a more purposeful and meaningful life.
