The art of knitting and crocheting has been passed down through the women in my family for generations, and I find great joy in carrying on the tradition of these awesome ladies.
I have an adorable pug and two kitties that often watch me knit on the couch or attempt to get in my supplies while I am working. I've even lost a few knitting needles to Emmitt (my pug) when I was in the other room.
Outside of crafting, I work in the communications field and have studied/am interested in feminism, gender, health literacy, and health care disparities. I also really enjoy teen fiction and action movies :)
