Hi there! Thank you for checking out my shop(: here's a little bit about myself and how Seagrass Meadows began: I am a graduate from Eckerd College with a degree in Marine Science. I am absolutely passionate about protecting our surrounding environment, and the animals within it. Although I am a scientist, I have always been drawn to the arts as a way to de-stress after a long day. I began making macrame jewelry 8 years ago, but stopped once I started college. In 2015 I began making jewelry again, but solely for myself. After a few requests for custom made pieces, I established Seagrass Meadows. Living in Florida allows me the opportunity to collect many natural materials to use in my jewelry; including shells, crustaceans, bugs, flowers, and anything else I stumble across.
