About

Hi, welcome to my ETSY shop! :-)
My name is Karen and crafting is my drug of choice.
Reality may force me to work, but I can still escape through crafting!
If I'm not making something,I like to read. I can sew, crochet, knit, machine embroider, macrame, do kumihimo braiding, and occasionally do jewelry making. I also like to combine some of the above for truly unique items!

There is a doll dress in my baby book I stitched before I was two years old ,and I got my first sewing machine for my seventh birthday. ( I gave it to my daughter when she was nine). I already knew how to crochet when I took knitting lessons at nine,so I really can't remember ever NOT making stuff.

I already knew how to crochet when I took knitting lessons at nine,so I really can't remember ever NOT making stuff.

All my toys and dolls are child friendly, unless stated otherwise. I made the same types of things when my kids were small, and they held up quite well. All can be washed by pinning them in a bag or pillowcase to wash and dry, unless the specific doll listing says otherwise.

Now that my kids are grown, I have a whole room to spread out my crafting toys in, so I can find things when I want to create!

Thanks to a short attention span, I usually have several projects going at once, and like small portable things I can take with me to work on whenever I'm sitting still somewhere. Crochet and Kumihimo both are easily transported to appointments, etc.

My mother still sews and crafts also and is occasionally adding inventory to my shop, since she does not own a computer, or want to deal with shipping.
I appreciate this opportunity to show you what we've done, and hope you come back to visit again.
I recently found trading teams, and will trade anything in my shop to get something i want from yours.
Thanks for dropping by!
